Born 1963 in Donezk (Ukraine).

1978 - 1989  Musical Education at Gnesin-College and Gnesin-Highschool
of Music in Moscow.

1986  Winner of a nationwide competition for ancient Russian folk instruments.

1986 - 1988  Soloist with "Rosconcert" Agency in Moscow.

1988 - 1998  Soloist in the ensemble "Jazz-Balalaika",
guest appearances in Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, the USA,
Japan, Greece, Israel, Egypt, and Slovenia.
Appearances in numerous musical TV programs in Russia
and Germany and at the Music Festival, Freiburg.

1995  CD with music by Astor Piazzolla on Bekar Records Label, Moscow.

1993 - 1996  Recording for "Moskowskie Okna" Label, Moscow.

1999  CD recording "A Piece of Sky" with Waldemar Gudi.
Teaching at "Johannes Brahms Conservatory", Hamburg.

Horea Crishan was born 1945 in Hermannstadt (Sibiu), Romania.

Euterpe, the goddess of music, accompanied Chrishan’s path of life from the beginning. After his state examination as violinist at the conservatory in Bukarest he migrated to West Germany.

Since 1974 he is violinist in the NDR Symphony Orchestra in Hamburg. Hundreds of concerts in numerous countries together with the most known conductors and solists of the word let him become an orchestra musician with heart and soul.

Besides the violin his secon passion is the pan-flute.

Among numerous disc recordings at Intercord and Polydor his biggest success was „Paradiesvogel“ together with the James Last Orchestra.
